How to Help

Lowcountry Warrior Moms works with hospital staff and organizations supporting families caring for critically ill children to create Mother’s Day care packages.  We typically donate 70-80 bags each Mother’s Day.  We make sure we are providing things that are useful, permitted by the hospital, and/or indulgent because it’s Mother’s Day, and these moms deserve it. We also use money collected to support families caring for critically ill children through small financial grants .

If you are touched by our mission and interested in contributing, here’s how to help:

Donate

01

Contribute funds for items to be purchased for the bag and to support our mini-grant program.

Click here to donate through our website, or you can donate through our Venmo account @LowcountryWarrior-Moms.  LWM is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, so your monetary donation is tax deductible.

03

Write an anonymous note(s) of encouragement

Write an anonymous note(s) of encouragement for a mother/caregiver who is likely in a dark and scary place. We typically collect over 1,000 notes for our Mother’s Day bag drive.  Over the years, we have had several moms tell us they re-read the notes when they are having a difficult moment.  These notes are truly the heart of these bags. If you are interested in writing notes for a mama, please contact us here and we will send our mailing address, deadline info, note writing tips and arrange to pick up the notes if you are local.
